A Smart Balance of Capacity and Energy Efficiency
The BE HOT Plant Factory combines innovative technology with sustainable practices, successfully breaking traditional limitations on plant factory yield and energy efficiency, and setting a new benchmark in smart agriculture. Leveraging advanced production techniques and strict quality control, we supply safe vegetables with a cumulative sales volume surpassing 300 metric tons. In terms of energy efficiency, we integrate production databases, optimize process parameters, and use high-performance photovoltaic modules to demonstrate exceptional technical expertise. With a fully integrated supply chain—from R&D and equipment to sales channels—BE HOT is Taiwan’s only plant factory with a comprehensive industry presence.
Plant factory construction
The plant factory adopts a modular design with a standardized configuration of 90 square meters per unit, which not only optimizes space utilization, but also ensures maximum production capacity. Through standardized design, construction and maintenance costs are significantly reduced and operational efficiency is improved. The vertical planting system is combined with precision environmental control technology to create the most suitable crop growth environment and achieve efficient and stable year-round production.

With 13 plant factories establishing a stable supply chain, we have successfully built a strong presence in Costco’s distribution channels over the years. Furthermore, we plan to gradually expand our annual production capacity to 250 metric tons by 2028, demonstrating significant long-term growth potential.

Breakthrough in Energy-Saving Technology
Through innovative integration of production databases and photovoltaic module technology, we achieved a global benchmark energy consumption of 0.49 KWh/100g in lettuce production. This demonstrates that increasing yield and reducing energy consumption can complement each other.
